Pollington Panthers U10 Comets 3 - Whitley Wolves 2
With all the goals coming in the first half, Rob
Midgley, Nat Aitchison and man-of-the-match Chris Iverson shot
down the Wolves in this hard-fought Under 10s game. Chris Atkinson set up
one of the goals with a good pass while Ben Gilson and Tom Child
were superb in defence and keeper Joe Swash saved well. The friendly
ended 0-0 with good efforts from Chris Dobbing, Josh Cram,
Adele Wilson and man-of-the-match Alex Jackson.

Pollington Panthers U10 Comets 0 - Thorpe Utd 0
The final score certainly did not reflect the spirit
and energy of both teams as the match remained even stevens with 50:50
possession of the ball. With midfielders Adele Watson and Chris
Dobbing pushing up from behind, Nat Aitchison and Rob Midgley
made numerous shots at goal for Comets while Thorpe also tried very hard to
break the resistance created by defenders Ben Gilson and Tom Child,
not to mention keeper and man-of-the-match Joe Swash. The ensuing
friendly ended 2-2 with Swash, now playing up front, on the scoresheet
along with man-of-the-match Midgley.
